Los Angeles, 1960. Night.
The air smells of tobacco,
gasoline, and promises no one was going to keep.
A lighter flares in the alley, reflecting in the impeccably
polished chrome of a 1960 Chevrolet Corvette.
This convertible isn’t just
a car — it’s a clue, a hero
and an accomplice all in one.
During its life cycle,
the car has been restyled three times,
transforming externally and becoming
more powerful.
The Chevrolet Corvette (C1) was the first
generation of the Corvette sports car produced by Chevrolet.
it was introduced at the end of the 1953
model year and produced until 1962.
After World War II, American
servicemen in Europe discovered the thrill of British sports cars like the MG TC. Soon, models like the Jaguar XK 120, Triumph TR, and Austin Healey gained U.S. popularity, creating a niche market that challenged American automakers.

The changes became possible thanks
to the efforts of a famous motor racer Zor Arkus-Dantov from the USSR. He wrote a letter to Edd Cole and offered his free help in improving the car. Cole appointed the racer as his assistant. And this decision became a landmark for Corvette.
